Students from Columbia University, working together with Telefonica I+D, explored what Telefonica Cell Phone Data from Mexico City can tell about the city and their inhabitants’ behaviour.

Visualizing and analysing data holds much potential for developing new vantage viewpoints, understandings, services and opportunities for the cities we live in. Compelling visuals highlight patterns that might not have otherwise been seen in the city.
